ITINERARY:
Day 1 – Arrive Israel at TLV Airport OR Allenby bridge. Arrive early and you can take in some of the Jerusalem nightlife. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 2 – Begin your day with a majestic overview of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. From there descend to the Garden of Gethsemane before spending
the rest of the day exploring Jerusalem’s Old City and its environs. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 3 – Start your day at the world renowned Israel Museum, which features everything from a wealth of ancient artifacts to astonishing modern art, not to
mention the legendary Dead Sea Scrolls. From there you’ll continue to the eye-opening Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. Afterwards you’ll head north to
the Tel Megiddo National Park overlooking the famous plains of Armageddon. Overnight in Nazareth.
Day 4 – Tracing the footsteps of the life of Jesus beginning in Nazareth where he grew up, followed by a visit to Cana, the site of Jesus first miracle, turning
water into wine. From there you’ll continue to Tabgha – a site on the Sea of Galilee associated with the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and
fishes. Continuing on around the lake you’ll enjoy Capernaum, the site of healing of St. Peter’s mother-in-law with its ancient synagogue, before
boarding a boat or an excursion on the Sea of Galilee. Overnight in Galilee.
Day 5 – Driving around the Sea of Galilee we’ll arrive at its outlet into the Jordan River. Nearby is the Yardenit Baptismal site where it is common for
visitors to stop and be immersed in the Jordan. From there we’ll continue to Beth She’an, a very large Roman-Byzantine city with impressively preserved
remains including a hippodrome, Cardo, and ancient bathhouse among many other attractions. You’ll end the day floating in the Dead Sea at the deepest
resort in the world before heading back to Tel Aviv for the evening. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 6 – This is a free day to enjoy the bustling Mediterranean metropolis of Tel Aviv finishing with your scheduled transportation to Ben Gurion Airport for
your flight home.
